Esthetics in implant restorations are made by alveolar bone, thickness of soft-tissue and the shape of the crown. In het this lecture we will go in to the planning detail of teeth which are irrational to treat in the anterior maxilla. By using a 3D planning, it is possible to have a clear navigation in the bone with free handed drilling. If the implant are positioned correctly, the best result will come if we can preserve the hard and soft-tissue by means of a transitional crown. After this transition, a ceramic implant crown on a titanium abutment can be made to restore esthetically.
